    SENIOR SERIALS RECORDS PAYMENT ASSISTANT

 Bobst Library, Technical Services Division, Serials Records Unit.
 Available June 1994.  Salary: $23,816/annum.   DESCRIPTION:
 Coordinates daily office operations with regard to invoice
 verification, expenditure records maintenance and payment
 authorization activities; distributes invoices to office staff;
 trains new support staff in payment processing activities;
 maintains a regular invoice-processing/vendor-contact
 assignment; assigns, revises and trains student employees;
 initiates or responds to inquiries to/from vendors, publishers
 and library personnel; advises unit head on all aspects of
 invoice-handling and expenditure records-keeping.
 REQUIREMENTS:  2-3 years clerical experience (including library
 experience), excellent organizational and communication skills;
 experience coordinating high volume workflow in an office
 environment.  Knowledge of a Western European language and
 experience with an automated acquisitions system (esp. GEAC)
