Haworth Press has listened carefully to comments regarding its
photocopying policy and has revised it to fit what it believes most
librarians will feel comfortable with:
a) no photocopying limits on copies made for free distribution for
classroom use and library reserve use;
b) no photocopying limits on copies for interlibrary loan up to
the limit of "fair use" as defined by the most recent copyright
statutes;
c) past fair use, a $1.50 per article fee, regardless of the
length of the article.
I hope that everyone will find this new policy to be as generous as
I do. It is taken from a letter I received from Bill Cohen,
Publisher, dated May 5, 1994.
