At William Paterson College, we have 12 3M 5740 microform reader/printers.
In order to switch between film and fiche, one must mount a module onto
the machine. This is a simple process and easily accomplished.  The
machine takes plain paper which is a great advantage.  There are no toner
cartridges but toner is added through a small door in the back of the machine.
We make approximately 270,000 copies from these machines each year with
very little problems.  They are very reliable and the 3M service is exceptional.
If we need a repair person, one is here within 24 hours or less.  I highly
recommend these machines.
