Are you familiar with Hawkeye Book and Magazine Co.? The are located in
South Dakota. They purchase duplicate issues/volumes from libraries,
issue credits on the duplicates you send and provide issues to libraries
to fillin collections. Their prices are a tad bit high, but they are
good about having/getting what you need fairly quickly and they are easy
to deal with. Their address is: Hawkeye Lending Library, P.O. Box 231,
Redfield, SD 57469 and their phone number is: (605) 472-1559. If you
have any questions please contact me. Hope this helps. Gretchen Olson,

We use Ebsco Subscription Service, and they have a clearinghouse for
back issues/replacements. There is no fee involved since we use Ebsco
as our jobber. The only problem we encounter is when we need a replace-
ment or back issue for a technical journal--we rarely receive those
from Ebsco. Otherwise, we're pleased with the service.
