ALA Nominating Committee Seeks Names of Candidates

Members of the American Library Association Nominating Committee invite
ALA members to consider running for ALA offices of President/Elect, and
ALA Councilor-at-large for the spring 1995 elections.  In an effort to
identify the most qualified candidates, we also request your assistance
on this nomination.  Any recommendations you might propose would be
welcome.  The winning presidential candidate will begin serving as
president-elect and councilors will serve four-year terms beginning at
the conclusion of the 1995 ALA annual conference.

Please send a brief resume to any members on the Committee and indicate
which office you are interested in by January 25, 1994 for consideration
at ALA Midwinter Meeting in Los Angeles.  Committee members are:
