We are interested in tapping other people's experiences using current
contents services and document delivery. We are particularly interested
in Faxon Finder/Express, which we have recently had demoed, but we are
also interested in experience the OCLC system, etc. Our particular
concerns deal with cost-per-use, average cost-per-document, ability to
meet commitments on timely document delivery, timely updating, and in
general the administrative issues involved in choosing and implementing
such a service. While we have been considering such a move for several
years, the immediate impetus is a recent serials cancellation project
which has reduced the number of requests we can fill locally.
