Joe - try imagining that you HAD a book/collections budget of $1.6 million
7 years ago, and TODAY it is $1.1 million (NOT allowing for inflation of
periodicals, either) What would YOU cut? Popular titles which are
available through the public library? Or titles which are "required"
reading for courses? We have 1,000 less periodicals titles today then we
did 6 years ago. (And less librarians & staff as well)
