Out of curiosity I ran a check of our Springer-Verlag
subscription prices paid to Faxon for 1993 against their
1994 catalog prices and found the sum total virtually
unchanged from last year. We paid $24,811 for the group for
1993 subscriptions and the 1994 total runs out at $24,387, a
slight decrease overall. With the exception of the two
titles marked USA all originate in Germany and are priced in
both marks and dollars, the dollar price being pegged at
$1.00 = DM1.60. The dollar price appears to be definitive
for North American customers. Thought other readers of the
listserv might find these results interesting.
