CAPCON Library Network is pleased to announce its Fall 1993
Continuing Education Series.  Intended to meet the needs of all
types of libraries, the series offers workshops on a range of
topics:  managing student employees, cost recovery for library
services, building library-management partnerships (with
instructor Herbert S. White), workflow analysis, staff/patron
communication, cataloging rare books, cataloging non-book
materials, copyright law, and being an information provider on
the Internet.

The following schedule lists course titles, dates, and
instructors.  All workshops will be held in Washington, DC, with
the exception of Introduction to Cataloging Non-book Materials,
which will be held in Charlottesville, VA.  Course fees for full-
day workshops are $90.00 for CAPCON members and $115.00 for non-
members; fees for half-day workshops are $40.00 (CAPCON members)
and $60.00 (non-members).

Note:  CAPCON does not accept workshop registrations over the
