One of our monographic catalogers recently alerted me to a notice in
the front matter of v. 166 of the title, _Topics in current chemistry_.
Springer-Verlag has made the index to vols. 22 (1972) through 163 (1992)
available as an ASCII file.  Instructions for downloading the free file
are included.

I would be interested in knowing what other subscribing libraries are
doing with this information.  Are you noting this information on your
bibliographic record? Are you obtaining the file, and if so, how are
you using it?
