We have been considering what we can do with unwanted donated issues. After
issues have been offered to other institutions,USBE, and EBSCO Missing Copy
Bank, we still have quite a bit to get rid of. We can recycle them, of course,
but that really is a last resort.

Our library has an on-going $1-per-volume booksale for monographs; we are
looking at this as a possible outlet for journal issues. We would appreciate
input from fellow Listers on this. What's the reaction of the patron towards
the collection, when these issues are sold? How can these issues be priced to
move without giving the impression that information is cheap? (Patrons have
been made well-aware of the cost of subscriptions) Are there suggestions for
better final solutions?

All help, comments, alarms are welcome.
