Since this discussion is happening over both lists, please excuse the
duplication.

Just to throw another curve into this discussion, I use the MHLDs to
record receipts of prebounds and unbound issues of titles that can not
be handled by LSER.

Our library is relatively new to NOTIS and my library does not currently
use the Acquisition Module. We are in the process of converting our serials
holding information (mhld and items) to NOTIS and converting from SC350 to
LSER at the same time. Thus I am not using OPRs but record receipts on the
mhld.

Drawbacks: No action listing or notification to claim.

However the holdings information is there and you will notice when an issue
is skipped. It just may not be in a timely manner.
