No, Scott, I don't think you were asleep at any meetings, but NOTIS has
never come out and said officially that the OPR has a longer life than
the next release (now due late 1994).  One would logically assume that
the OPR will exist as long as there is no other place for payment, claiming
and checking in of completely irregulars.  I guess it is a matter of how
much you "trust" NOTIS to do the reasonable, logical thing.

Scott,

No, you have not been sleeping at meetings, it is true.  NOTIS has said
for more than two years now the O/P/R option for serials checking is
drawing itself into history.  When they plan to drop the screen, I do
not know.

Many NOTIS users have been upset with this announcement, particularly
as LSER seems to not be the solution for many serial titles.

NOTIS has not officially said which version the O/P/R will be dropped,
and so far, as far as I understand, no version under development includes
that.
