RE:  Cataloging microfilm set of American Medical Periodicals being
published by Research Publications, Inc.

The Yale Medical Library is acquiring the microfilm publication of American
Medical Periodicals, now numbering well over 200 individual periodical
titles and still going.

There are some cataloging records for paper or microform formats for some of
the titles in the LC serials file and in RLIN, but no indication that anyone
has undertaken cataloging of the entire microfilm set nor any substantial
portion of the paper titles.

We have checked with RP and the Center for Research Libraries, and looked at
the OCLC list of sets available and have no leads.

Is anyone currently cataloging the individual titles?  Are others who are
acquiring the set planning to do analytics or interested in a cooperative
project?
