SERIALST Down Time and/or Slow Down

Last call for ALA announcements!
Apologies for the short notice, but because all of SERIALST's moderators
will be attending ALA, and thus away from their "normal" email accounts,
SERIALST will be suspending operations from Thursday afternoon, June 24th
(that's today!) through next Thursday, July 1st.
If you have an announcement or message that you would like to see posted
on SERIALST prior to ALA, please send it to the list BEFORE 2 p.m. EDT
(or 11 a.m. on the west coast) TODAY. If you send it AFTER 2 p.m. EDT,
there is no guarantee that it will be posted until July 1st.
Yes, we know there will be an Internet Room (through the Exhibits, staffed
by LITA volunteers during exhibit hours and/or available 24 hrs. a day
through the ALA offices in Exhibit Hall Meeting Room D-1, NOCC, according
to ALCTS Network News), but there is no guarantee that we will be able to
post SERIALST mail from New Orleans (however, those wishing for a safe
and secure route to true peace and quiet from the list during this time
are still advised to set their SERIALST distribution options to NOMAIL).
Safe travels to those of you attending ALA. And for those staying at
home, enjoy a respite from the mail. SERIALST will resume normal operations
on July 1st.
