Vendor representatives from the book, serials, and OPAC communities will
discuss:
1. How companies prioritize new development ideas and enhancements to
established products;
2. How vendors define quality in terms of market-ability and the level
of meeting user needs;
3. How much quality is feasible so that products are competitive while
serving a broad user community with disparate needs;
4. How libraries can communicate effectively with vendors and provide
meaningful input into the development process.
