Does anyone have any experience with detailed serial holdings and
can share some experiences?  We are getting ready to convert our
shelflist cards to Marc Holdings, linked to our bibliographic record.

1. With regard to coding Supplements and Indexes (864 and 865), are you
coding all supplements and indexes, only certain ones, or none at all?
On what did you base your decision?  In particular I'm questionning the
coding of the `individual volume' indexes - some issued loosely and others
at the back of the last issue.

2. Is there any need for coding the frequency/publication pattern (853,
subfields u, v, w, x, and y) if we are not using this system for
check-in and the journals do not circulate, thus no barcodes/physical
piece identificator?  What are the consequences of not coding this information?
