The Serials Industry Systems Advisory Committee (SISAC) will take
most of its program time at the ALA annual meeting for a

- Book Industry Communications in the U.K. has provided a
model of a scannable Table of Contents using new and
exciting "2 dimensional" bar code technology.
- Publishers have announced the availability of Table of
Contents over the Internet via ftp.
- ILS vendors are asking what librarians want to do with
this information? Must it be "hooked to holdings?"
Join us and let us know what you think.
