Research on Language and Social Interaction

We recently received communication from Faxon indicating that there
is a dispute between Boreal Scholarly and Lawrence Erlbaum
Associates over the publication of _Research on Language and Social
Interaction._ Coming so close on the heels of the conflict over
_Cellular and Molecular Biology_, I am wondering if we are seeing
the beginnings of a trend. How have other people responded to this
particular situation? We opted for the edition published by
Erlbaum, although I must confess that we had no strong rationale
for that decision. Thanks.
