For volumes with varying lengths, fill in "var" in the Units per Level column
and use the Calendar Change function on the second screen of your LSER record.
For example, if the volume changes in Jan and July you would fill in
     Calendar Change:  0101  0701

The University of Delaware serials unit is compiling a file of patterns by
publication pattern type, i.e. monthly except August, quarterly with seasons,
etc. I'm not sure we have the time or money to fax them to lots of locations,
but you may contact me directly about getting some of the complex patterns
out into circulation.
