The Rider College Library (300,000 books, 450,000 fiche, 25,000
film) is considering replacing its aging microfilm and microfiche
reader/printers, and would like to hear from other libraries
which have recently acquired new machines of this type. Any
answers to the following questions would be greatly appreciated.

1. How old were the machines which were replaced?

2. What brand name was purchased? (Minolta, Canon, etc.)

3. How much did the machines cost?

4. How long have you had the new machines?

5. How reliable have they been in terms of maintenance and
repair?

6. How many microforms (film and fiche) are in your collection?

7. How many patrons do you serve?

8. Did you purchase separate, microfilm/microfiche
reader/printers, or did you buy (a) machine(s) which are used for
both film and fiche?

9. How many machines were purchased?

You may respond to me directly.

Many thanks in advance for your feedback!
