Subject: ALA Meeting - Committee to Study Serials Cataloging
This is being cross-posted to Autocat and Serialst:
The ALA/ALCTS/Serials Section Committee to Study Serials Cataloging
will meet at ALA Midwinter on Monday, January 25, 1993, from
2-4 pm at the Hyatt Regency Denver - Marquis Room.
Other than the standard reports from LC, CC:DA, and so forth,
we will discuss:
- Tribute to Dorothy Glasby (LC Liaison to the Committee for a number
of years)
- Cataloging questions (2)
-- one having to do with series
-- one having to do with variations in titles of governmental reports
- Continued planning for a preconference on serials cataloging
training
As always, we welcome anyone interested in serials cataloging issues
to attend our meeting.
