Editor's note:

Citations for Serial Literature was created in February 1992 with a
threefold purpose: to identify literature related to the serial
information chain, to disseminate this information in a timely manner,
and to create an index in this field with electronic searching
capabilities. To achieve these goals, Citations for Serial Literature
publishes table of contents, and abstracts when they are available,
for a variety of journals which address issues of concern to serials
librarians, vendors and publishers.

Complete table of contents are included for the following titles:
        Advances in Serials Management
        Newsletter on Serials Pricing Issues
        Serials
        Serials Review
In addition, selective table of contents are included for the following titles:
        Information Standards Quarterly
Issues in Science and Technology Librarianship
        Library Acquisitions: Practice and Theory

This index is distributed to subscribers via email. Complete
subscription information is listed at the end of this issue. The
archives are publicly available from LISTSERV@MITVMA. Users may
retrieve individual issues of the index or perform database searches
using LDBASE. To retrieve the index for Citations to Serial
Literature, send a message to LISTSERV@MITVMA that reads: index
