Generally, all journals are available for checkout to full borrowers, i.e. our
students, faculty and staff; special borrowers may not check out journals.
All nursing journals are non-circulating because of their heavy use.
Loan period is 3 days with no renewals allowed.
New issues of journals received within the last 30 days are not available for
checkout - they are for in-library use for the first 30 days.  Our computer
system controls this so staff do not have to make these decisions.  Of course
staff have the ability to make exceptions and override computer decisions if
the situation dictates.
