     The Trinity University library is considering purchasing tapes of
catalog records for the American Periodicals Series I, II, and III (done
by OCLC in conjunction with the New York State Library), as well as
tapes of catalog records for Evans' Early American Imprints (done by
OCLC in conjunction with the American Antiquarian Society).

     Please share with us briefly:
     1) Your estimation of the quality of the catalog records
     2) Any serious problems encountered
     3) If holdings information (i.e., reel nos.) is included and if so,
        in what way
     4) Advice on points to consider before deciding to purchase these
        tapes
