Subject:      Call number labels from automated systems

Would anyone using an automated checkin system which
produces call number labels at the workstation during
the checkin session comment on the pros and cons.
NLM currently produces labels twice a day off a
central printer located in the computer room.  This
delays thruput but does save the agony of keeping
multiple printers going at each individual workstation.
Output does not have to rerouted, as I would assume
it must be done if a printer fails in a stand alone
workstation.
