Serials Acquisitions Librarian

Supervises and trains 5 support staff.  Manages serials expenditures of
over $2 million a year.  Maintains good vendor relations.  Required: MLS
from accredited program, strong academic record, and two years serials
and/or acquisitions experience on an automated system.  Desired: Supervisory
experience; knowledge of modern foreign language(s); excellent verbal and
written communications skills; evidence of ability to meet tenure requirements.

Salary minimum is $25,000 (negotiable with experience).  Appointment as
Librarian II (Assistant Professor) or Librarian III (Associate Professor)
on 12 month appointment.  Tenure track.  State teachers' retirement (mandatory);
TIAA and other supplemental retirement plans available; 12 days sick leave,
20 days annual leave, health/life/disability insurance benefits.
