Subject: Staffing in Serials Depts

         We have 3 technicians who receive about 4000 issues, 150 reels
         1000 and odd fiche per month. 1 person recieves around 900 newspaper
         issues per month(works one hour a day while responsible for other
         tasks.
         We have 2 technicians who receive and pay for Continuation titles
         i.e.annuals,analysed and other type of series.
         We have a separate Government Documents department that handles its
         own materials.
