At East Carolina University's Health Sciences Library we circulate both bound
and unbound journals.  Our books were barcoded first and the bar codes were put
on the upper right corner of the inside back cover.  We put the bar codes for
both the bound and unbound journals on the upper right corner of the outside
front cover.  This makes the bar codes both easy to find and to wand.
