At Gettysburg College's main library, periodicals are all shelved
alphabetically by title. Current unbound titles are in the current issues
display area next to the reference collection. Bound titles are on another
floor. An exception to this arrangement is the keeping of heavily used
titles such as Time, Business Week, etc. in our Reserve collection until
they can be bound. Chemistry and Physics Depts. have their own libraries
where they keep their titles shelved alphabetically as well.
