_Library Acquisitions: Practice & Theory_ is a journal whose
primary subscription list is institutional.  The majority of
acquisitions and serials librarians do not recent individual
copies, but rather route or make use of their institutional copies.
As a result, the _LAPT_ Editorial Board has consulted with
Christian Boissonnas and the ACQNET Editorial Board and with Birdie
MacLennan of SERIALST.  As a test, the table of contents in full
(for ACQNET) and selected highlights related to serials will be
posted to the two forums.  Please let me know directly or via the
list your reactions to this test.  Our primary goal is to provide
an alerting service for possible articles that you might find of
interest.
