BOWKER/ULRICH'S SERIALS LIBRARIANSHIP AWARD
Call for nominations

An annual award consisting of a citation and $1,500 cash is
given in recognition of distinguished and ongoing contributions
to serials librarianship. Qualified individuals demonstrate
leadership in serials-related activities through their
participation in professional associations, groups, and/or
library education programs; make significant contributions to
serials literature; conduct research in the field of serials;
develop tools or methods to enhance access to or management of
serials; and, in general, strive to enhance our comprehension of
the serials world.

The award, presented by the ALCTS Serials Section of ALA and
sponsored by the R.R. Bowker Co., may be divided among two or
more individuals. Nominations and supporting documentation
should be sent no later than December 2, 1991 to the chair of
the award committee:
