We are reconsidering how we handle annuals in our library.  Up to now,
annuals have been treated as monographs, i.e., access through the
library's catalog, classified, and circulated. It has come to our
attention that students are finding access to many of these titles through
the periodical indexes, thus they expect to find annuals shelved with
periodicals, nonclassified and noncirculating.  I am interested in how other
libraries handle this genre and for what reasons.  Thanks in advance
