For those of you who are interested and may not have seen the
information on NOTISACQ, there will be a discussion of NOTIS serials
re-design (including predictive check-in) and Release 5.1 as well as
information on MARC holdings implementation (in both release 5.0 and 5.1)
at the NOTIS Serials Interest Group Meeting on Tuesday, July 2nd from 8:30
until 10:30 am in the Georgia World Congress Center, Room 160 W. NOTIS
personnel will be attending the meeting and able to answer questions from
the floor. Stuart Miller of NOTIS will also address the Serials group on these
topics.
topics.
So if you're interested in either of these topics, please come and
bring your questions! This is not to suggest that this is the only forum
in which these topics will be addressed, but certainly it is certainly a forum
with a very
with a vested interest in these next two releases and the changes both
predictive check-in and MARC holdings will bring to serials workflow.
