The newest issue of Publishers Weekly (June 21, 1991), pp. 19-26 carries a
long, well-researched article by column editor Gayle Feldman called "Going
Dutch." It describes Wolters Kluwer's and Elsevier's positioning in the
international PSP (professional and scholarly publishing) marketplace,
strategies, plans, and recent activities. Describing the leaders' behavior
as lucrative and discreet, Ms. Feldman contributes a great deal to our
picture of international STM and scholarly publications.
