The UC System's MELVYL is one of the largest online union catalogs and the
Division of Library Automation has recently loaded GPO and CRL records into
MELVYL. Dorothy will discuss her work with these records and MELVYL.

The University of Minnesota has loaded GPO, CRL, and Dept. of Transportation
records into their OPAC. Chris will describe her experiences with these types
of records in the University of Minnesota's online catalog.

Jo will present a public services perspective on the need for and the uses of
authority authority control in the augmented catalog.
