A minor point of clarification:

 The one-day, $295 seminar on negotiating subscription agency fees
 offered by Buzzy Basch is NOT an ALA Pre-Conference, although it
 is scheduled to take place here in Atlanta the same day as all
 the other (28+) pre-conferences, i.e., Friday, June 28. Mr. Basch
 is a free-lance consultant.

 Actually, the seminar sounds great. I'd think about attending myself,
 except I will be involved all day (might as well make a plug here)
 in the ALCTS Pre-Conference on Dual Role Collection Management
 Librarians, scheduled for that date at the Radisson. Contact
 ALCTS for registration information.
