We would like to see any budget allocation formulas your library may have
that are specifically for serials.

Our Director and Periodical Supervisor are working on a proposal to
redistribute the serials budget so that academic departments can assume
responsibility for a certain dollar amount for their area to pay for their
subscriptions, rather than having all subscriptions come out of one library
budget.  One of the problems is how to fairly distribute the funds among the
departments, and knowing how other libraries have dealt with such an issue
would be very helpful.
