Here's a question for all you benighted serials librarians and legal eagles.
Can anyone tell me if the "bundling" of unwanted serial titles with current
subscriptions -- at a single stated (*higher*) price would fall under the
"full-line force" or "tied offer" categories in the long standing anti-
trust case law? These latter types of activity are -- as you might anticipate
-- illegal (and perhaps -- as in many of Judge Wapner's cases -- one might get
triple damages!!!) If so -- this might be a useful point to make to the
erring publishers. We wouldn't want *them* to do anything illegal.
