I'm preparing a introduction to our Serials Department for other
library personnel and propose to start out with a small definition
of what a SERIAL is.  Can anyone recommend a source for this
information or supply a definition themselves?  I need this for
tomorrow, so any help you can offer would be appreciated!  Thanks
