Just thought I'd share my experiences with the rest of you concerning
booking flights thru the special numbers provided for NASIG participants.,
   I called both 800 numbers. The fares quoted were slightly HIGHER than
the ones given to me by my local travel agent. So do not assume that they
will give you the best price. It depends where you are flying from. Even
with the 5% discount, I did better locally.
   And, and I might add: your local agent might be willing to bill your
university if you're set up for that, and they might be less surly!
