NST/CASSI Reporting Birdie MacLennan 08 Feb 1991 20:52 UTC

The following is a re-send from the SERIALST delivery error notice
box ... I'm happy to just send this along on the right path and not
to try to make too much sense of what went wrong. -- Birdie MacLennan

 Subject: NST/CASSI reporting

Serial Holdings for the General Libraries (and I assume, the rest of the
Emory libraries) are reported to NST simply from the transaction symbols
on the OCLC record. Thus, nothing is identified other than the fact that
we own some portion of the title.

We have a new Chemistry librarian who is not completely sure how CASSI
reporting is handled. She said that although we provided data, when the
new listing came out, only a few of our newest titles were represented.

Hope this is of some use-
