This is in reply to Ann Okerson's request -- but I solicit comments from any
and all readers -- hence the general reply.
Can't help you personally -- but I'm curious. Do you, as a serials
professional, still consider "Ulrich's" the necessary standard, or would a copy
of EBSCO's "Serials Directory" be equally adequate? I have certainly
found inadequacies, errors, omissions, etc. in both (the online Ulrich's lacks
entries for new serials that have been published for a year, now and I occasion
ally report missing serial titles to the EBSCO help line). I have no stock
in either company but would welcome comments to enlighted my students.
