... We are beginning to receive periodicals with videos with some frequency,
and it would be helpful for us to know the approaches other libraries are
taking. Some of the questions we have are: Should the volume and video-
cassette be shelved together? Some videos are necessary illustrations of
the text, and others are less essential. How should we handle circulation
of the videocassette for circulating periodicals, and what should we do about
those that do not circulate? Is is practical to attach notes to the materials
directing patrons to videos shelved elsewhere? What solutions have you found?
