Re: Law serials in your library JUDITH HOPKINS AT SUNY BUFFALO 16 Nov 1990 22:49 UTC

I responded to Peter Scott's question by stating that all legal material
is ordered, cataloged, etc. by the Law Library. That is still true. What
I should have made explicit, perhaps, is that my answer applied to materials
that are housed in the Law Library. If one of the other units of the UB
Library system (perhaps Lockwood Library, the graduate humanities and social
sciences library) orders a serial or monograph on a legal topic all processing
FOR THAT COPY is performed by Central Technical Services. We will even have
two separate bib records in our OPAC for the copy in Law and the copy in the
General Libraries.
