Re: Journal Review suggestions

Ken,
I would think those other sources would also reflect the usage of that journal in/from their platform, ours does. We use EBSCO's Usage Consolidation and get information about publisher platform access, JSTOR, databases, Project Muse, etc., so we can see where they are using it most/least.

Subject: Re: [SERIALST] Journal Review suggestions
Just another quick question. I reached out to a publisher about a single title to which we subscribe. The usage was really low, and they mentioned in their response:
"Please note that usage provided may only a fraction of your library's real usage as our journals can be accessed via other gateways such as EBSCO, OCLC etc. Usage will not be recorded at our end when users are accessing via other gateways."
Is this just something just on their end, or would this be the case for all publishers?
