Thank you, everyone, for your input! We've always kept a running 4 years worth of cost information for each journal and things such as the latest annual % change, three year compound rate of change, three year total change, average of latest and three year compound rate of change, projected next year cost. We also have the same info for each liaison department (totals of the associated journals on a single department line). So we had a lot of data at our fingertips.

It will be an interesting process!
