Connecting to Duke University Press ebooks off campus
jwc44 21 Dec 2015 11:42 UTC
Hello,
Here at Cambridge University Library we are trialling offering Duke
ebook collections on their eDuke Books Scholarly Collection platform.
Duke uses Highwire to set up Shibboleth and proxy access and we have
found that despite our Duke ejournals working fine, they cannot seem to
implement any kind of seamless off campus access to the ebooks for our
users.
I wondered if anyone else out there had trialled or purchased eDuke
ebook collections and if so have you experienced any problems with
setting up Shibboleth access to the platform and did this get resolved?
I would appreciate any experiences with Duke UP and Highwire anyone can
provide.
