NASIG November Webinar: DIY E-Resources Management publicist 27 Oct 2014 19:25 UTC

NASIG's Continuing Education Committee is pleased to
announce that registration is now open for the November 13
webinar entitled “DIY E-Resources Management: Basics of
Information Architecture.” Presented by Sarah
Hartman-Caverly of Delaware County Community College, this
webinar will provide an introduction (or refresher) to
concepts in information architecture and strategies for the
design of homegrown e-resource management systems (ERMS).
While both commercial and open source ERMS are available,
sometimes the resources needed to license or support these
systems are not. This session will prepare attendees with
information, tools, and strategies to design and implement
homegrown ERMS using software such as Microsoft Access. The
information in this session can also be applied to evaluate
commercial or open source systems.
