Greetings Colleagues,

I'm looking for volunteers to serve to be nominated to serve as ALA Representatives to two standing IFLA committees each for a four-year term (2015-2019). You must be an ALA member, ALCTS membership preferred.
The first committee is Newspapers (http://www.ifla.org/newspapers) and the second is Serials & Other Continuing Resources (http://www.ifla.org/serials-and-continuing-resources).

>From the nomination form:
"A nominee should be an expert in the field covered by the section and have a working knowledge of at least one working language of IFLA (English is an IFLA working language), and should have reasonable expectation of attending meetings of the standing committee without cost to IFLA or to ALA."

Currently scheduled IFLA meetings (2015 - Cape Town, South Africa; 2016 - Columbus, Ohio; 2017 - Europe)
